Enric Tello is an environmental historian and full professor in the Department of Economic History, Institutions, Policy and World Economy at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona, where he directs a multidisciplinary research group on the sustainability of agri-food systems and agricultural landscapes.

He is a member of the Agroecology Task Force of the Standing Committee on Agricultural Research that advises the European Commission on agroecological transition processes.
