BARCELONA TOURISM BOARD

The Barcelona Tourism Consortium is the official entity for the promotion and dynamization of the tourist, cultural and commercial offer of Barcelona and the surrounding area. It was created in 1993 by the Barcelona City Council, the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Barcelona and the Barcelona Promotion Foundation. Its mission is to project, dynamize and position Barcelona as an International Tourist Destination through the knowledge of its culture and idiosyncrasy based on an offer of added value and according to criteria of segmentation of audiences and interests.
