DANIELE ROSSI

Daniele Rossi, Forlì, Italy, 1967, graduated in Theatre Organization and Economics at the University of Bologna and studied Food Technology in his hometown. Connected to the restaurant world since 1995, he opened his first vegetable cuisine restaurant in 2001 in the Raval district of Barcelona. In 2005 he founded, together with Chiara Bombardi, the Slow Food movement in Barcelona and between 2008 and 2011 he worked in the Italian offices of Slow Food International in the organization of major gastronomic events, Salone del Gusto, Cheese and Slow Fish.
In 2013 he opens in Barcelona, with Chiara Bombardi, the restaurant plant based Rasoterra, focused on 360 degrees responsibility, towards the planet and its inhabitants. Since 2018 he is editor and project manager of the responsible and sustainable restaurant guide Barcelona Slow Food Guide. Among his projects in the city of Barcelona is the organization of the Sustainable Food Festival, Terra i Gust, which reached its 3rd edition in 2023.
