MARIEL COLMÁN MARTÍNEZ
Research Professor, Barcelona Culinary Hub, Barcelona, Spain
Graduate in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (2007), Master in Nutrition and Metabolism (2011) and PhD in Food and Nutrition from the University of Barcelona (2016). She is also trained as a Higher Technician in Culinary Arts (2006).
As a teacher, she has given courses at university and post-university level, as well as in short specialised courses for health professionals and the catering industry on nutrition and food, hygiene and food safety, food allergies and intolerances, nutrition in health and disease, food in different stages of life, among others.
She has also participated in numerous national and international congresses, presenting oral and written communications and has been part of the research team in national and international research projects, both competitive and non-competitive, on topics related to food, nutrition and health.
She is currently a member of the faculty-researchers of the Barcelona Culinary Hub.
