Foods from Spain (Alimentos de España) is a brand of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food used in all its promotional activities to highlight the quality of our food and to give prestige to the Spanish agri-food system, which is enormously varied and of which we are proud, and which aims to raise public awareness of the importance of consuming seasonal products and reducing food waste, and to recognize the different quality systems we have in place.

With it we want to recognize the work of farmers, livestock breeders and fishermen who represent the origin of our food.

Food from Spain wants to be considered the basis of a recipe that includes other ingredients such as sport, gastronomy, culture, ingredients also of the Mediterranean Diet with which it shares synergies, which is intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO for being not only a nutritional model but a lifestyle, a philosophy based on a way of eating, cooking food, sharing it, enjoying our environment and our landscape, living and relating to the environment, generating art and culture, history and traditions linked to our emblematic foods and their origin.
