Periko Ortega

Periko Ortega, has 44 years and was born in a family connected to the gastronomy and extra virgin olive oil. After studying culinary arts in Córdoba, he undertook various internships and jobs in Mallorca, Málaga, and the Basque Country. He has worked in renowned restaurants and hotels, including Café de Paris, Tragabuches, Mugaritz, and Palacio del Bailío, where his restaurant Senzone multiplied national and international recognition.
He has also participated in culinary conferences and competitions, earning several awards and distinctions, such as a Michelin star. Currently, he works as the executive chef and technical director of the Power Group. His restaurant ReComiendo has been awarded on multiple occasions, including the Travellers Choice and Best of the Best awards. Furthermore, he has received recognition from the Michelin Guide and a gold medal for excellence in his work, as well as the Repsol sun.
