Food Program Manager for EMEA, Google; Dublin, Ireland

Stijn Kuppens is an experienced leader with a reputable 20+ year experience of working in various senior roles in the luxury hospitality and corporate food @ workplace program industry.

Skilled in multi-unit management, program management, outsourced contract management and managing strategic partnerships, Stijn currently oversees the Food @ Google program in Ireland, France, the Benelux, Munich, the Middle East and Africa.

Stijn also leads Food at Google EMEA´s Food, Loss, Waste initiatives and recently celebrated receiving TRUE Zero Waste Platinum-level certification for the Google Dublin Campus, making it Google’s first platinum-level TRUE project and the largest platinum office in EMEA.

Prior to joining Google in 2013, Stijn worked in a variety of top luxury hotels, in various countries managing high end food and beverage operations, including at the Ritz and Langham hotels in London and the One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai. Stijn was also part of the pre-opening team of the Mandarin Oriental, Sanya resort in China before heading back to London at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel as their Food and Beverage Director where he managed the food and beverage operations, which included collaborations with top chefs Heston Blumenthal and Daniel Boulud.

Stijn studied Hotel Management in the Netherlands and having left the Netherlands almost 30 years ago, is a member of Foodservice Network, Netherlands & Belgium, a Bi-annual Guest Lecturer at Hotel Management School Maastricht and Keynote speaker at various external International events talking about the correlation between workplace services & programs and employee wellbeing and productivity. Stijn is also a proud Chevalier du Tastevin de Bourgogne.
